Book Cover Commissions
The goal of a book cover is to draw in a potential reader. Most covers do this by simply showing the genre of the book. A truly great cover will make a viewer think, “That is freaking amazing. I NEED to see what this is about”
I work very hard to give you not only a servicable cover, but something that you can be proud of and will make sales feel easy.
It is important for me to understand the book, mindset, and approach of each for each project. Getting the rough genre is not enough, the cover needs to sell the feeling that the reader gets while reading the book. This is where Zoom calls come in. This allows us to brainstorm and get to the best possible idea for the cover that fits the book like a glove.

I am also happy to do this same process through email using a questionnaire and a bit of back and forth. Zoom is efficient but it’s not for everyone! Just let me know.
I typically begin with a Zoom meeting, where we discuss the book. This includes the overall feel of the book, the plot, genres, setting, and visuals. You don’t need to come prepared, I will just ask questions and we will discuss it together.
After discussing the book, I will explain my thought process behind coming up with the best possible cover for your book. We will briefly go through my marketing mindset as well as focal points, viewer interest, and thumbnail design.
After this we will go through any ideas you have for the cover (It’s totally OK if you don’t have any!) As well as any ideas I might have come up with during the call. I will share my screen and sketch them out live on the call as we brainstorm. Often we will have a rough draft with an initial direction during the call, but not always if I need some more time for research and brainstorming.
Step 4: creation
Once the initial direction is decided upon, I will take about 2 weeks working on the next update, which will be between 50-75% finished depending on the project. We can make any tweaks if needed here.
Step 5: Final delivery
About 2 weeks after step 4, I will have your final (pending any final tweaks) file. Once approved, I will send over the invoice. After the invoice is paid, I will send all of the deliverable files. If you are not ready for the print cover(s) at this point, no worries! I am able to prepare them at any point in the future.

I do reduced costs if you only need the ebook ($1850 USD) or ebook and 1 paperback print cover ($2050 USD)
I AM CURRENTLY BOOKING ABOUT 5 MONTHS AHEAD
Covers take about one month from start to finish.
My prices may go up in the future, however, I will keep the price for the series. Unless in a rare case it goes to 5+ years from the starting date, at which point I may keep the same price or I may adjust it to be in between the previous and new prices.
If you aren’t able to pay the full amount right away, I am happy to work out a monthly payment plan for no extra cost. Just let me know!
After the initial call or initial if you don’t Iike where I am going, we can cancel the project with no issues and no extra cost.
